First ECO Car category at 24th Annual "May Madness", San Rafael - 7 May 2011.
This year, the 24th Annual May Madness Car show in San Rafael opened up a new category for Eco Cars. I had our Biodiesel burning MB polished up and entered. Turned out the be the only oil burner there.
Three Nissan All-Electric Leafs were on display along with one Chevy Volt which has the back-up onboard gas generator to charge the batteries on the fly, plus one 1992 All-Electric Toyota RAV 4, one converted 1982 VW Scirocco, and a prototype All Electric Smart Car
